Police have released an e-fit image of a suspect they want to trace following a sex assault on a woman who was walking home alone in west London.

The victim was attacked on Avenue Gardens in Acton as she made her way home on July 27 at around 7.30pm.

She was grabbed from behind and struggled with her attacker before the suspect fled down the street.

Police described the suspect as a light skinned male, maybe of Middle Eastern origin, aged around 20, 5ft 11ins tall and of medium build.

The victim was not injured but was “shocked and alarmed” after being attacked, police said,.
