Two teens arrested over Enfield murder

Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 26-year-old man was stabbed to death in Enfield.

James Amadu was knifed near Gordon Hill station in north London around 1pm on Thursday.

He took himself to hospital but died there an hour later.

A post-mortem examination at Haringey mortuary on Friday gave the cause of death as a stab wound.

Police have now arrested an 18-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy in connection with the attack.

Road closures are in place in Lavender Hill near the crime scene and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
