A 24-year-old man has died after he was stabbed at a nightclub in east London.

Ricardo Fuller was outside an event at a club in Ilford around 5am on Saturday when he was attacked, according to police.

He was then chased back inside.

Mr Fuller was rushed to a nearby hospital but died shortly after 11.30am.

A murder investigation has now been launched and a post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.

A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and he remains in custody at an east London police station.
