Three men and a woman have been arrested following a triple stabbing in Peckham in broad daylight on Monday afternoon.

Police and ambulance crews were called to reports of a stabbing near Peckham Rye park, Southwark, at around 4.20pm on Monday.

Two men, aged 18 and 23, were found in Banfield Road, off Nunhead Lane, with stab injuries and were taken to hospital.

The London Metropolitan Police said while the 18-year-old's injuries are not life-threatening, the 23-year-old is being treated for serious injuries.

A third 18-year-old man was found nearby in Brookstone Court with stab injuries and was taken to hospital.

His condition is not yet known, police said.

The four suspects have been arrested on suspicion of GBH and were taken into custody.

Section 60 stop and search powers have been put into place for the Southwark borough from 7pm on Monday to 2am on Tuesday.

A Met Police spokesperson said officers were still working to "determine whether there are any other injured parties".
