Two men have died and three people were left seriously injured after a car crash in the West Midlands.

The men, aged 21 and 37, were killed in the collision on the A41 Black Country New Road in Wednesbury, West Midlands on Friday night.

The accident, around 10.30pm, involved a black Jeep Cherokee and a black VW Golf.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, the two men were pronounced dead at the scene. Their families have been informed.

A further three people sustained serious injuries and were being treated in hospital.
